Each race has multiple effect strategies; however I've noticed the following strategies are what cometitive players usually want to learn when I coach them. As a professional SC coach, I'd be happy to teach you these main skill sets below. If you are already sufficient in these strategies and are beating high caliber players by intermixing these strategies on a consistent basis, then I'll gladly coach you in different aspects of the game to get you to the highest level possible.
Zerg is one of the most challenging races to play. Their army is compiled of light but fast units making them a naturally aggressive yet flimsy race. I start off by making sure you get your one-base aggressive or safe builds down, and then move onto more macro oriented builds. After you’re finished with your lessons you will learn:
Safe and aggressive builds
How to keep your resources low and knowing when to drone and when to build units
When to harass and with what units
How to position your units depending on the race you play against
Terran is the most volatile races making it the one of the most fun to play. Depending which units you make you can play both aggressively or passively. I will teach you how to succeed with both play styles while maintaining good macro. Things you will learn will include:
Get your basic one base builds down perfectly (3 Racks and the 1/1/1), then learning more complex builds.
How to play very aggressively or defensively
Different ways to set your hotkeys
How to multi-task with drops and army
Protoss is the powerhouse of the three races. Their units are slow but very strong. Because of this, it is very important to learn protoss timing pushes and how to build up the perfect deathball. Things you will learn include:
How to execute three different 4 gates, then moving into two/three base builds
When to apply pressure and when to turtle
How to keep your macro down throughout entire game
How to use force fields, blink, and storm effectively
